CONBERG JUNIOR HOCKEY 2026

INFORMATION LETTER

 

Dear Parents

 

We are super excited to be heading into the 2026 hockey season. Welcome back to our members as well as new members who will be joining the Conberg family!

 

PRE-SEASON & TRIALS

 

Pre-season training for U13 and U15 players will run from Monday, 2nd March, to Thursday, 12th March. These sessions are open to both members and non-members and are entirely optional – perfect for those eager to get back on the turf while allowing flexibility for those still engaged in summer sports.

 

Trials will be held from Monday, 16th March, to Thursday, 26th March.

If your child is unable to attend the trials, please still complete the form and select the “Unavailable” option. We will arrange an alternative trial opportunity during a practice session.

SEASON INFORMATION

Team practices will begin on Monday, 6th April. Please refer to the schedule below for specific practice days and times. At this stage, practices are for members only.

If you would like to register your child as a member, please visit our website: https://www.conberghockey.co.za/ and select the appropriate league (U13 or U15). This is for new members only.

Seasonal subscription fee: R2385    (bank details can be found on the Conberg website)

League matches will commence in April and run until September 

There is a season break during the June / July school holidays where no practices or matches will take place.

U13 Boys Monday 18:00 – 19:00 Sunday mornings 
U15 Girls Tuesday 18:00 – 19:00 Sunday mornings 
U13 Girls Wednesday 18:00 – 19:00 Saturday / Sunday mornings 
U15 Boys Thursday 18:00 – 19:00 Sunday mornings 

 

U13 & U15 LEAGUE ELIGIBILITY

  • U13 League: Players must be 11 years old as of 1st January 2026 (Grade 6 or 7 in 2026).

 

  • U15 League: Players must be 13 years old as of 1st January 2026 (Grade 8 or 9 in 2026).

  • Tops: R400 
  • Socks: R80
  • Skorts / Shorts: R400 (optional – can wear navy blue if they have)
  • Warm-up Top: R300 (optional)
