Conberg’s annual 6 a side fun hockey tournament. This is one not to be missed!
Everyone and anyone is welcome! Bring all your friends and family!
6 PEOPLE a side, not necessarily hockey players (more if you think you can’t handle quarter field and you need a sub or 2) if you don’t have a team, just come down and we ‘ll organize you a side 🙂
R400 per team
Feel free to come dressed in themed team uniform to create silliness.
Food will be on sale and who could forget the BAR!
The more hockey rules you break the better!
Rules:
* Game will be played with a small netball ball.
* At least 2 ladies on the field at all times.
* Games are 10 minutes.
* Match starts with the ball in the middle of the field and both teams in their own goal.
* Scoring is allowed from any position on the field.
* The ball can be played above the shoulders if it isn’t dangerous to the opponent.
* If a player touches or stops the ball unintentionally with their feet or body, the game continues.
* The goalkeeper is allowed to reject the ball with their hands and/or feet, they can’t catch the ball.
* Goal keepers cannot kick the ball from a free hit outside the 5-metre zone.
* Best dressed team gets a prize.
